In their very first year as an official Special Olympics College, @specialolympicsatwwu made an immediate impact by finishing 6th overall during the 2026 Unified College Championship Week!

That means two huge wins to celebrate:
🏆 Becoming a recognized Special Olympics college program
🏆 Placing Top 10 in the nation in year one

We’re proud to see Washington represented by students leading the way for inclusion, unity, and opportunity on campus. This is only the beginning for WWU!

Through the Alliance for Inclusive Health and our partnership with @virginiamasonfranciscanhealth, we are working to improve access to inclusive care. Hearing directly from athletes helps us continue that work.

We’re still 100 volunteers short at EACH track & f We’re still 100 volunteers short at EACH track & field (Athletics) meet this weekend!

That’s the difference between a good competition… and the experience our athletes truly deserve.

No experience needed. Just show up and we’ll take care of the rest.

You can:
• Walk alongside athletes as a Marshal (most needed!)
• Help at Post Race Staging with water + transitions
• Support field events in the morning
• Jump in for set-up starting at 6:15am

Shifts are flexible: full day or half day.

Bring a friend. Bring your family. Bring a group.

Minimum age is 11 (youth under 13 just need an adult with them).
