Special Olympics Washington is proud to once again partner with Jersey Mike’s Subs for the 16th Annual Month of Giving campaign this March. Throughout the month, customers can round up their order or make a donation at participating Jersey Mike’s locations or through the Jersey Mike’s mobile app. These donations will support Special Olympics Washington athletes and the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota, taking place June 20 through June 26.
Every contribution helps create more opportunities for athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to train, compete, and grow through sports. Funds raised will support Special Olympics programs including year-round sports training and competition, health services, leadership opportunities, and Unified Champion Schools that bring students with and without disabilities together.
The campaign builds throughout March and leads to Jersey Mike’s annual Day of Giving on Wednesday, March 25. On this incredible day, every participating Jersey Mike’s location will donate 100% of the day’s sales, not just profits, to support Special Olympics programs and the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. Simply grabbing lunch, dinner, or a quick snack at Jersey Mike’s on March 25 becomes a powerful way to support athletes across Washington and across the country.

Jersey Mike’s commitment to giving back has deep roots. The partnership with Special Olympics began in 1975 when employees in Point Pleasant, New Jersey first volunteered with local athletes. That spirit of service has grown into a nationwide movement.
Since launching the Month of Giving campaign in 2011, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $143 million for charities across the country.
In 2022, Jersey Mike’s raised a record breaking $20 million for Special Olympics State Programs and the Special Olympics USA Games, including more than $10 million on Day of Giving alone. This year, Jersey Mike’s owners, operators, team members, and customers are coming together once again to see if they can set a new record while supporting athletes across the nation.
