We’re excited to welcome Emily J. Nakada-Alm as We’re excited to welcome Emily J. Nakada-Alm as our new Director of Development at Special Olympics Washington!

Emily brings nearly 20 years of nonprofit and fundraising experience, most recently serving as Community and Corporate Partnership Manager at Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound. She’s known for building strong relationships, exceeding fundraising goals, and making a lasting impact.

A Colorado native, Emily also founded the Destiny City Film Festival, growing it significantly during her time as Executive Director. She holds multiple degrees and certifications, including from the University of Puget Sound and the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

We’re thrilled to have Emily join our team and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make!
