About: The Law Enforcement Torch Run returns for 2024, culminating with Torch Run Week, June 1-7. Participants will keep the Flame of Hope burning by running, walking, and biking across Washington State all leading up to the Final Mile from Blue Steel in Lakewood to Pacific Lutheran University Spring Games Opening Ceremonies.
Become a Torch Runner: All registered runners will receive the 2024 Law Enforcement Torch Run T-Shirt and will have the opportunity to participate in a local community Torch Run and/or run at their pace at their place. Register as an individual or create a team with your favorite family, friend or colleague running enthusiasts. Head over to our registration page to get started.
Fuel the Flame of Hope – Fundraise: Once registered, you can create a personal fundraising page to collect online donations. The funds raised help to provide year-round sports training, competitions, leadership opportunities and health care for thousands of Special Olympics Washington athletes of all abilities.
Torch Runs: When? Where?
- Join A Community Run: Local law enforcement agencies will be hosting runs throughout the state this spring leading up to the Special Olympics Washington Spring Games on June 7. More information on local runs, dates and times coming soon!
- Run Your Pace at Your Place: If you’d rather run on your own, no worries! We need everyone to lace up their sneakers to cover the state.
