This year, Special Olympics Washington is celebrating a milestone: 50 years of inclusion, impact, and community. And we know one thing for sure: we couldn’t have done it without you.

Whether you’ve cheered from the sidelines, coached on the field, competed with pride, or volunteered behind the scenes, your story is a part of our legacy. Now, as we honor five decades of joy, teamwork, and triumph, we want to hear it.

Our goal is to collect 50 stories from across Washington! Your story doesn’t have to be long or formal. It just has to be yours. Maybe it’s a favorite memory from a competition, a friendship that changed your life, or a moment that made you proud to be part of this movement. Whatever it is, it matters, and it belongs in this celebration.

Throughout the campaign, we’ll be sharing these stories on social media, leading up to our 50th Anniversary events this summer. One story at a time, we’ll bring to life the people and moments that make Special Olympics Washington so special.
