When we developed our multi-year Beyond Gold strategic plan, there’s one thing we heard loud and clear across the Special Olympics Washington community: make it easier for athletes to register and participate. We’re excited to announce that one of our top Beyond Gold priorities – a new, online registration portal – will be launching in the coming months!

With the launch of the new registration system approaching, all coaches, chaperones, games management team (GMT) members, and program coordinators are invited to join us on Thursday, May 30, for a comprehensive orientation and training session on the new system. As we continue to enhance our registration processes, it’s imperative that all coaches and other Class A volunteers attend so that they are well-versed in navigating the new system.

During the interactive session, you will:

–Gain a thorough understanding of the features and functionalities of the new registration system.

–Learn step-by-step instructions on how to complete your coach qualifications, register athletes and view credential results.

–Explore troubleshooting techniques to address any potential challenges or questions that may arise during the registration process.

–Have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance from our expert panel.

Whether you’re a seasoned coach or new to Special Olympics, attending one of these sessions will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully navigate our updated registration system. Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity to streamline your administrative tasks and focus more on what truly matters – empowering athletes to reach their full potential on and off the field.
