The Unified Robotics™ Championship is a partnership between Special Olympics Washington and Unified Robotics.
The Championship caps off a six-week season, during which students with and without intellectual disabilities work together to build robots. This event brings schools from across Washington State that will gather at the Liberty High School to compete in tournament-style sumo matches.
The program was developed in 2015 by King’s High School student, Delaney Foster, when she brought her FIRST Robotics teammates to Roosevelt High School to work alongside students with different abilities to build robots.
