A unique and fun event will kick off on April 15th named Cruising With The Cops. This event is an off-shoot of the annual Friday night cruise that takes place prior to the Post Falls Police Cops-n-Kids & Rodders-n-More Open House in August. Although Cruising with the Cops is a Post Falls Police community event, it is much broader than that as it involves other local agencies who support this event.
The April kick off Cruising With The Cops events is a 65 mile, 1.5 hour cruise labelled a rolling car show in support of law enforcement and first responders. Pre-registered vehicles cruise from the Post Falls Police Department, to Airway Heights Police Department, and back to the Liberty Lake Police Department where a mini-car show will also take place. Pre-registered vehicles include a variety of classic cars and trucks, restored and retired emergency vehicles, and various in-service emergency vehicles.
Cruising With The Cops cruises will take place April, May, June, and July. Locations and routes will vary each month. Cruise registration is limited. Contact John for more information if you are interested in bringing your classic cruiser or restored emergency to these cruises.
A “Car Show” portion of the event will be held at the Liberty Lake Police Department, with the availability to collect donations for Special Olympics Washington athletes.
*LLPD will be providing dinner and dessert for all those participating in the event at the police department.
