Join us for Special Olympics Washington’s Volunteer Leadership Conference 2024!  

 

WHO: Coaches (Community and Unified Schools), Program Coordinators, Program Leadership, Athlete Leaders, Games Management Team members, Health and Community Partners  

WHAT: A weekend of networking, collaboration, learning, and celebration with your fellow volunteers!  

WHEN: Friday, June 21st – Sunday, June 23rd  

WHERE: Tulalip Casino (10200 Quil Ceda Blvd, Tulalip, WA 98271) 

 

This year, we will be focused on Leadership On and Off the Field: Plays for Change.  

  • Let’s celebrate the versatility of our volunteers’ leadership, emphasizing their influence both on and off the field.  
  • We recognize that change is constant and varied, and effective leadership is essential in navigating these shifts.  
  • Through engaging discussions, interactive workshops, and collaborative activities, we will explore how leadership principles apply across different contexts within the Special Olympics movement.  
  • Together, we’ll uncover strategies for adapting to and thriving amidst change, fostering resilience, innovation, and inclusivity.  
  • Join us as we discover the universal playbooks for leadership, guiding us through every change, both on and off the field.
