On Friday, December 15th, the bravest and boldest from local area law enforcement agencies will be taking their support of Special Olympics Washington to new depths by “plunging” into an aboveground pool filled with icy cold water to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Washington. Police officers from local law enforcement agencies along with several warm-hearted community members will brave the frigid water from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Westlake Park in the height of holiday shopping and
festivities happening in the park.
The general public is encouraged to cheer on the elite group of Polar Plungers, donate and register for the upcoming any of the six Polar Plunges in the months of January and February across the state.
