Celebration Week is almost here, and we are throwing a party 50 years in the making. For half a century, Special Olympics Washington has brought people together through the power of sport, building a community where everyone belongs.

Now it is time to celebrate everything that has made the last 50 years unforgettable and get excited about what is still to come. From baseball games to torch runs to hands-on volunteering, there are plenty of ways to join in.

Celebrate With Us at the Mariners Game
There is nothing better than a summer night at the ballpark—except celebrating inclusion while you are there.

Join us on Monday, June 16 at 6:40 p.m. at T-Mobile Park for Special Olympics Washington Night as the Mariners take on the Red Sox. For every ticket purchased through our link, $5 goes directly to support programs for athletes across the state.

You will also get a limited-edition Mariners x Special Olympics Washington 50th Anniversary T-shirt, while supplies last. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, June 13 at 5:00 p.m., so don’t wait. – Get your tickets here!

Volunteer at the State Spring Games
This is our biggest event of the year, and it would not be possible without the energy and support of volunteers.

Whether you are helping run competitions, managing logistics, or bringing Olympic Town to life, you will be part of something truly inspiring. It is a great way to get involved and experience the heart of the Special Olympics community. – Click here for volunteer opportunities!

Join the Torch Run Movement
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is a proud tradition and a symbol of unity, inclusion, and hope. Each year, law enforcement and community members carry the Flame of Hope across the state and into the Spring Games.

You can join in by signing up to run, making a donation, or purchasing a commemorative shirt. Every step helps move the mission forward. – Join the Torch Run movement!

Shop With Purpose at Safeway
From June 15 through 21, you can support Special Olympics Washington simply by shopping. Visit your local Safeway or Albertsons and donate at checkout to help athletes across the state access sports, health, and leadership programs.

It is an easy way to make a difference while getting your grocery list done.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Let’s keep the momentum going and make the next 50 years even more impactful.
