We’re proud to announce the launch of Finding Your Why: Stories of Acceptance, a podcast that brings you inspiring stories from the Special Olympics Washington and Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Washington (LETR) communities. Co-hosted by Donovan Heavener, a dedicated LETR volunteer, and Tim Dempsey, a Special Olympics Washington athlete, the podcast explores the purpose and passion that drive individuals to champion inclusion and acceptance.

Finding Your Why highlights the people behind the mission, sharing compelling stories of athletes, volunteers, and supporters. Through engaging conversations, the podcast uncovers the “why” behind their dedication and celebrates the shared values of courage, diversity, and connection.

With new episodes released every other Wednesday, Finding Your Why offers regular opportunities to hear heartfelt stories that inspire action and foster understanding. Whether it’s an athlete sharing their journey, a volunteer reflecting on their involvement, or a supporter explaining their connection to the movement, each story serves as a reminder of the power of inclusion.
