The media plays a huge roll in what Special Olympics Washington does. When the media covers a story about the organization, events or cause, it creates a “buzz” in the community, excitement within Special Olympics and credibility in community. In addition it also helps raise awareness and help the organization support nearly 10,000 athletes across the State of Washington.
