FOUNDER
The WLTC was founded by Corporal Norm Schniederhan special project coordinator with the Orange County (Florida) Sheriff’s Department. Inspired by the powerful impact Special Olympics had on his life through his participation in the Law Enforcement Torch Run, Schneiderhan combined his family’s involvement with the trucking industry and his experience with Special Olympics to create this one-day celebration.
